Michele Hickey is owner/principal of Silver Lining Communications, LLC, a boutique writing services firm that assists nonprofit organizations, entrepreneurs, thought leaders and small businesses with their content, marketing, and authorship needs. She has more than twenty-five years of experience writing and editing for a wide variety of organizations including higher education institutions, visual and performing arts organizations, K-12 schools, humanities and historic preservation projects, social services and health care agencies, and corporate social responsibility programs. In addition, Michele is Executive Vice President for Dennis C. Miller, a firm that specializes in identifying talented executives for c-suite roles in social impact organizations.
Michele has assisted authors of books on a variety of business-related topics such as digital marketing and executive search, including A Guide to Recruiting Your Next CEO: The Executive Search Handbook for Nonprofit Boards by Dennis C. Miller. She has also worked with the author of a personal memoir.
Michele has an MS in Professional and Technical Communication from NJIT, an MA in Nonprofit Management from the New School University, and a BA in Business from Rutgers University. She is a Certified Constant Contact Solution Provider as well.
